Applicant understands that filling out this application shall constitute agreement by the applicant to the following conditions:
- The applicant organization does not exclude any person from membership or participation in any activities of the organization, or subject any person to discrimination because of race, color, national origin, sex, or age.
- The applicant agrees to abide by all center rules and to reimburse the center for all property damage arising from the use of the center facilities.
- Applicants are required to give a number guarantee approximately one (1) week prior to a meal. This is the number for which you will be charged if you have less than you guarantee.
- Applicants agree to indemnify the University of Tennessee and hold it harmless from all liabilities arising out of the applicant’s use of center property and/or facilities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, court costs and attorney’s fees. The University of Tennessee insurance does not cover outside groups on center property.
- It is against university policy to POSSESS ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ON UNIVERSITY PROPERTY.
- Applicant is responsible for first aid, including first aid supplies and emergency transportation. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage.
- The 4-H & Youth Development Center at Lone Oaks Farm advises groups to collect names, addresses, emergency contacts, health histories, and permission to treat forms for all participants. This is the responsibility of the individual user groups.
- University of Tennessee’s smoking policy is NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN ANY BUILDINGS ON CENTER GROUNDS.
- UT lifeguards are required for the use of our lake area when swimming, using lake inflatable equipment, or kayaking.
- All user groups are responsible for all keys and returning and paying for any lost keys.
